Update OrderVane

Your chart says ⬆ Update available. Nothing is broken — a newer package is out, and it is free. Here is how to take it.

Updates are included with your license. You do not buy anything again, and your charts, settings and license key survive the swap.

How to update

1. Open your order page. Go to app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders, enter the email you used at checkout, and open the magic link it sends you. No password. Your order is there with a fresh download link — the link always serves the current package, not the one you bought on.
2. Close Quantower. The platform loads the indicator file into memory at startup and holds it, so replacing it while Quantower is running does nothing.
3. Replace the folder. Unzip the download and copy the OrderVane_Lite (or OrderVane_Pro) folder into your indicators folder, overwriting the old one: <Quantower>\Settings\Scripts\Indicators\. That is the same place you put it the first time — the install guide in your download has the exact path if you need it again.
4. Start Quantower. Your charts come back the way you left them. The version on the chart name badge tells you which package is running.

That is the whole procedure. You do not re-enter your license key, and you do not lose a single setting — the values live in your Quantower workspace, not in the file you replaced.

Where to re-download

The same place you got it: your Lemon Squeezy order page, reachable from the link in your purchase email or at app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders. The download link is permanent and always points at the current package, so an old purchase email still works.

If you lost your license key

Your key is not lost — it is stored with Lemon Squeezy, our checkout. Open the same order page above and the key is printed under your order. If the email address is the problem, write to hello@ordervane.com from any address and tell us what you can about the purchase; we will find it.

Moving to a different computer

A license activates on two machines. If you are replacing a machine rather than adding one, open Quantower Settings, tick Release license from this PC (moving computers only) together with the confirmation box next to it, and apply. That frees the slot immediately, and the key then activates on the new machine as usual.

What changed in this package

The changelog lists what shipped and when, in plain language. It is worth a minute before you update — sometimes a release adds a setting that is off by default, and knowing it exists is the difference between using it and never finding it.
